Visual Thinking in Art and Constructive Play

Presentation to the Twelfth International Conference on the Arts in Society, The American University in Paris, France. Three examples (Painter Wasily Kandinsky, Vietnam War Memorial, and architectural constructive play) are used to illustrate visual thinking. Neuroaesthetics is the integration of visual sensation, cognition, motivation and emotion regulation of the self and experience of pleasure.
